2. Double check that your username and password are correct.
Your username is all one
word, all lowercase letters and does not have an "@" sign in it.
It is most definitely NOT your email address either - if you use your
email address for your login name, it WILL NOT work! An example of a
username would be "bob", less the quotes.
3. Many people don't realize they have their
caps lock key on. Please check that
yours is OFF when you log in!
4. Make sure that there are no other
telephony devices on your phone line. This includes (but are not
limited to) answering machines, telephones, dual jacks, and the dreaded
surge protector. All these devices contribute to the noise level of your
phone line and make it hard for the modems to hear each other.
5. Call us. Make sure that
you have your username and password handy plus the type of operating system
you are running. In most cases we can
answer your problems with one phone call.
