Keep Out of Hell

Oh ! What an awful subject thls is to write on. Lost souls, this tract is being written in your behalf. Sinner friend, do not lay this tract down until you have read every word of it and then read it again; be sure and keep out of hell. You ask what hell is and why men go there. Hell was made for the devil and his angels; and men that serve him and do his will, will all go where he goes and where he is. Not for a day or night only will they that follow him be where he is, but for ever and ever where the fire is not quenched. Let us remember that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. He is no respecter of persons. Rich men go to hell, poor men go to hell, beautiful women and homely women go to hell, and an human beings who will not repent oi the sins they have committed. There is only one way out and the Son of God said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me." Keep out of hell by letting him who said, "For without me ye can do nothing," come into your heart and there abide forever. God is love and in order for men and women to keep out of hell, we must abide in his great love. If hate abides in our hearts we will go to hell. If we hate our neighbors we win go to hell. No doubt there are lots of people that claim to be Christians who are on their road to hell.
Oh! brother and sister, have you done all to stand? Are you a light that is set on a hill that cannot be hid? Are you doing your best to lead men and women to God by living a clean life and adorning yourself in modest apparel ? Listen, dear sister, unless you go to heaven, you will go to hell. It is up to you‹you hold the destiny of your ever-living soul in your hands.
Dear preacher, are you on your road to hell? Are you preaching God's whole word ? Are you warning lost men and women to flee from the wrath to come? Or, are you at ease in Zion? Remember, dear preacher, that God said that if you failed to warn the people when the sword came on their land that he would require their blood at your hands. Dear preacher, you are in the best place in the world to win souls for God. Do you allow the things of the world in your own home? If you do, maybe that is the reason you dare not preach against bobbed hair, knee dresses, face powder, lip stick, and bare legs, and preachers wives and girls that are dressed like harlots. Cry aloud and spare not. Keep out of hell. Listen, luke-warm preacher, unless you preach the whole truth and nothing but the truth, the Son of God will spew you out of his mouth.
Dear Sunday school teacher, are you living a clean life before your class and are you a saved man or woman ? If the blind lead the blind both shall fall into the ditch.
Dear Bible Class teacher, do you follow a dirty old pipe or cigar around town and take a little drink? "Be ye holy for I am holy," then God will honor your efforts and give you souls. "Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Keep out of hell. There will be no fellowship or love in hell. You will not have any friends in hell. Your own father, mother, brother, sister, and your own children and wife will all hate you in hell. You will not be able to get a drink of water in hell. There will be no whiskey, beer, tobacco, or anything to ease that awful fire in hell. "And the smoke of their torments ascend up forever and ever." At the end of your life you will have to go to hell unless you repent of your sins and live for God. "Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways, for why will ye die?" Keep out of hell. Dear sinner friend, I beg you to give your life and your all to God and thereby keep out of hell. Pray the only prayer that God will answer for a sinner, "God be merciful unto me, a sinner." He will answer that prayer and pardon your sins. And after that, if you will live a life of obedience to him, he will give you a home not made with hands, eternal in the skies. Do it now and you will always be glad that you did. Be sure and keep out of hell.
