IF YOU DO‹THEN PROVE IT BY YOUR ACTIONS, AWAKE FROM YOUR SLEEP OF DEATH!!! For so long we have been indifferent to the things that have multiplied our wickedness, until God's judgments are falling upon us from within and from without. Can't you see that God is angry with us? Crime and vice have not only been tolerated, but encouraged and taught throughout our nation for many years. God's mercy is fast turning to wrath‹Yes, fierce wrath that shall not only take away our most cherished blessings of life, but also plague us with most grievous and unspeakable tortures.
With slight protest, the citizens of this country have permitted wicked agencies, such as degrading movies, filthy magazines, advertisements and billboards, gambling devices, etc. to be displayed in the most strategic and conspicuous locations all over the nation. Does God see this??? These damnable agencies of the Devil are intended to arouse and stimulate the baser lusts of all who will use them, to the point at which the conscience is smothered, the will against evil is broken, and the temptation toward evil is irresistible. By these, wicked fornicators, gamblers, atheists, liars, traitors, sorcerers, prostitutes, drunkards, sluggards, gluttons, blasphemers, tobacco addicts, dope fiends, money-lovers, sportworshippers, etc., are being manufactured by the millions. Yes, millions, old and young, rich and poor, are being seized by these snake-like enemies of all that is good and pure and true. These agencies are the preparatory training schools for instruction in evil, before entering actual service and employment in saloons, dives, houses of prostitution, jazz road-houses, fraternities, chain-gangs, clubs, lodges, atheistic and communistic organizations, unions, vaudevilles, movie studios, circuses, schools, universities, heathen religious bodies and some supposed to be Christian churches. The whole nation has become sick, from head to foot, from the sting of these venomous snakes; and yet we seem more content than ever to let them live to destroy us completely. Oh, people!! Oh, Christians!! Rise up and destroy these deadly foes with all the courage you can muster. Oh, America! Oh, America! Oh, America! Your cup of iniquity is almost full. The imaginations and thoughts of your hearts are fast becoming altogether evil‹as the Bible says, "being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness. full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, lawbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they that commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
Oh, Sinner!! Oh, Sinner!! Oh, Sinner!! The subtile serpent has charmed you. He has lied to you. He has told you to eat, drink, and be merry with wine, women and song; to get all you can of money and pleasure and fame, regardless of how you get it. He has told you to make this life a celebration, for tomorrow you die. But he has never said a word about the resurrection and the judgment where every one of us must answer for our words and deeds done in these bodies.
Don't let the devil charm you any further‹listen to what God says, "Be not deceived, God is NOT mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." They that sow to their lusts, shall from their lusts reap corruption. For the wages of sin is death. Repent, therefore, that your sins may be blotted out. He that saves his life shall lose it, but he that loses his life for Christ and the gospel, shall gain life eternal. You cannot love both God and money; you cannot love both God and lust; you cannot love God and be selfish; you cannot love God and hate men; you cannot love both God and fashion; you cannot love both God and popularity.
Oh, lost soul, cast all your wicked idols trom you. Abhor them, and abhor yourself. Be afflicted and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord and He will have mercy upon him, and will pardon him freely. For God so loved the whole world of people, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, that whosoever would put their trust in Him, might not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent Christ into the world not to condemn us, but to save us. We were condemned before He came; for all men are sinners. But Jesus came to bear our condemnation in His own body on the cross that we might be free from condemnation. He was made a curse for us that we might not be cursed. He tasted death for every man that we might have everlasting life. He that puts his trust in Christ has everlasting life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. He died that you might live. He arose again from the dead after three days that you might have hope of resurrection and everlasting life. He is now at God's right hand.
