Light And Darkness
Dear friend, don't throw this tract away. It will help you to find Jesus, the only real friend there is. You may know of Him like thousands; but the only thing that will stand before God is, I know Him. Knowing of Him and knowing Him are like night and day. To know Him is light and life; to only know of Him is soul darkness and no life or hope of heaven. For years I wanted to be God's child. I cried out to Him on my knees; but knew Him not. I wanted to be good, but failed. When I was tempted, I fell. I was building on sand. I would cry out, "Oh, God, forgive me! Why did I do that?" But thanks be unto God, He has revealed Himself to me that I might see that I would always fail. God says, "Ye must be born again." I had a natural heart inherited from Adam; born in sin. Adam failed and by him all were constituted sinners. Some self-righteous person may read this tract and say, "I do not sin." God has given us a wonderful plan of salvation that everyone might be saved who come to Him. Ask yourself these questions: Do I want Jesus in my life? Can I pray: God be merciful to me a sinner; Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me; Blot out all my sins with the blood of Jesus and I will be whiter than snow? As many as received Him (Jesus) to them He gave power to become the sons of God-born again. Choose you this day whom you will serve. If you say, "Not now," remember, that was invented by the devil. Tomorrow may be too late. Satan says, "Lots of time." Don't be deceived! Oh, how true His word is! "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us," and He will remember them against us no more forever. It matters not how black your sins are, or how bad you are; if you are the worst man or woman that ever lived, the blood of Jesus Christ will make you whiter than snow-fit for the King's presence. I praise God that Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. Surely, dear reader, this is the time oi His coming again. Those things which He prophesied are coming to pass. Men fly in the air, boats go under the water, knowledge increases, and everybody in a hurry. Look at the false prophets: Spiritualism, Christian Science, Russellism, New Thought and so many others. They would, if possible, deceive the very elect. Receive only that which has the seal of God's approval, His beloved Son and His precious blood. Those who are not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. He did not say the church book, but the Book of Llfe. Reader, beware!
