Morning Glories and Berries
Color Palette: Sevres blue, yellow brown, Albert
yellow, ruby purple, french grey, black grape, chartreuse, copen
blue, dark green.
1st Fire: Leaves: Dark green and chartreuse
Blackberries: light berries are laid in with
light wash of copen blue and french grey. Shadow side, ruby purple,
and black grape. Dark berries are laid in with ruby purple, black
grape, copen blue and/or Sevres blue. Pull out highlights, leaving
only suggestion of form on shadow side.
Morning Glories: wash blue area with copen blue
with some Sevres blue in lighter area. Indicate markings with wash of
ruby purple. Center is yellow brown and french grey mixed in brush.
3rd Fire: leaves: strengthes as indicated.
blackberries: strengthen using same colors. Keep light berries very
airy, and dark berries deep along line movement.
Morning glories: strenghten as indicated. wash
center very lightly with medium green to point up pistels.
Background: wash very, very lightly with Albert
yellow.
