    The study of First Letter to the Corinthians will be led by Bob Thompson. 

    If you plan on attending be sure and read through I Corinthians before the fire class.

UMW REMINDER Collecting baby products Sept 9 and 16th

    Don’t forget that the U.M.W. Service project this year is baby clothing and other baby products. These will be collected at the unit meeting on September 9th or the general meeting on September 16th.

Promise Kids are coming! Sept 21st @ 8:45p.m.

Don’t forget, the Promise Kids are coming!   Please join us on September 21, @ 8:45am in the Choir Room.  Also, I would like to welcome Sidney Ford as the new accompanist for our youth choir.

We have great things planned!  

THRIFT SHOP GRAND OPENING Sept 16th 

    Ladies, get ready for the grand re-opening of Wesley’s Thrift Shop on September 16th. The shop will be open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. 

    Margaret Newville and friends have worked hard to redecorate and update the stock. Donations are still being taken – clothes, shoes, and jewelry. Let’s all support this worthwhile mission

UMW GENERAL MEETING September 16th

ADULT MEETING September 19th at 12:00 noon 

    Reba & Cliff Farmer have invited the group to their home for the September meeting. The guest speaker will be Dr. Dale Tremper from Skyline Urban Ministries. Everyone is asked to bring their own sandwich. Drink and dessert will be furnished.

ADULT TRIP TO JENKS OK Sept 30th 

    The adults plan on a trip to Jenks, OK to visit the new Aquarium on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The cost is $15.00 in addition to your meal.

GARAGE SALE October 10th and 11th

    We will be having our Garage Sale on October 10th & 11th. We hope you have been saving your things for us. If you need to get them out of your house, please call me at 721-5800 and I will have them picked up. 

    Please do not bring to the west door of the church at this time since there is a lot of renovation being done. Thank You

WOW "WESLEY ON WEDNESDAY" Sept. 10 trough Nov 19

    Wesley Church will be giving everyone the opportunity to learn more about God, others and themselves. WOW will continue through November 19. There will be two sessions during this time. You will have the opportunity to choose from the programs below.

September 10th

During the first evening, there will be a meal followed by program  about ‘What’s Happening’ at OCU. 

September 17th, begins the first sessions for the studies.  They are:

“SISTERS”, a women’s study

  led by Jennifer Scott.

“ETHICS”, a study led by

  Dr. Mark Davies, from OCU

“REVAL0TIONS”, a study for youth

  led by Toby Scott

“EDIQUET” for children  (5 years to 5th grade)

  led by C. Davis and D. Clouse

“CHOIR”

  led by Cindy Smith

“NURSEY” for children 4 and under.
